BIG LOVE CALLS – Weekly, Tuesday Evenings 7PM
As we face uncertainty, fear and grief as a result of these times, I “convene” groups of people to be present to each other, and to talk about what has heart and meaning.
Weekly Zoom calls whose purpose is to connect us and inspire us, whether with poetry, songs, psalms, stillness, or art. Everyone is welcome and there is no obligation — join in when you feel moved to do so — once or often.
If you’d like to be on the list to receive the Zoom call-in information on a regular basis, please email me.
A NEW WORKSHOP – Sundays February 28 and March 7, 2021 3 – 5 PM EST
Cultivating Resilience for Ourselves & Earth is a 2-part interactive workshop to develop personal resilience in the face of climate chaos and looming catastrophe.
Jen writes, “We are in an unfolding ecological and planetary crisis. And yet, have you observed in yourself or others the tendency toward overwhelm, shutting down or dissociation at precisely the time when creative collaborations are vital? A complement to workshops targeted toward specific solutions, Cultivating Resilience for Ourselves and Earth focuses more on the psycho-social aspects – who we are being – in these times.” In the workshop, Comeau will share insights of global leaders and visionaries and explores how we as individuals and communities can adapt new capacities with a wide range of tools that can center and guide us in a time when so much is changing so quickly.
The workshop is intended to catalyze broader action in the world by bringing together diverse and intergenerational voices and help us answer questions such as:
- What skills are needed to keep our internal equilibrium when we are “triggered” by someone whose beliefs are vastly different from our own?
- What radically different tools and strategies will help us (i.e. give us “sea legs”) to dwell in the unknown amid rolling chaos?
- What personal habits/choices must change in order to apply nature’s laws of reuse, repurpose, recycle? (Nothing in nature is “new.”)
The workshop will be held on Sundays February 28 and March 7, from 3:00-5:00 p.m., via Zoom. A $15 suggested donation will be directed to Tree Sisters (www.treesisters.org). More details, registration information, and the Zoom link are at https://bit.ly/RSCultivate
